In 2011, Scott founded Foreground, one of the first talent management and production companies focused on digital talent. Moving from Toronto to Los Angeles in 2014, the company became Select Management Group developing his broader vision. As an experienced talent manager with a fresh approach on managing talent in the digital age, he is always an advocate for the artist, he prides himself on working closely with his clients to develop and expand their careers while staying true to their core values.
Prior to joining Select in Jan 2015, Adam served as principal consultant and executive producer to Refinery29 and Nylon TV. Previously, as VP of Owned & Operated Properties for EQAL (acquired by EverydayHealth), Adam developed and ran more than 20 celebrity editorial websites in partnership with Bethenny Frankel, Nick Cannon, Lauren Conrad and produced the Google-funded Original Channel ‘u look haute’ featuring YouTube sensations Elle and Blair Fowler. Earlier in his career he worked on the digital teams at E! Entertainment and Style Network.
Alisa Ben joined Select Management Group in Fall 2017 as Vice President and Head of Operations. Most recently, Ben served as Head of Strategy and Revenue at Rostrum Records. Prior to Rostrum, Ben held numerous titles at Universal Music Group (UMG)—the largest music company in the world–including VP & Head of Insights. During her tenure at UMG, Ben pioneered and integrated consumer and data-driven strategies for marketing and sales, product, brand, and artist development. Her work was key in the successful release, marketing, and branding strategies for artists including Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Shawn Mendes. Before UMG, she held management positions at Warner Music Group, MTV and AOL Music. She began her career in artist management at Half-A-Cup Entertainment, overseeing the rise of the successful pop-rock band, The All-American Rejects. Ben is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and received her MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Jake manages a roster incredibly diverse in their backgrounds, content verticals, and interests including Nikita Dragun, Kellie Sweet, Loey Lane, and The Rhodes Bros. Prior to managing talent at Select, Jake served as the Head of StyleHaul’s Men’s Vertical where he helped build out and manage the company’s gaming and men’s lifestyle strategy. Jake has also toured with top music acts Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, and Kelly Clarkson managing the entertainment marketing strategy, as well as execution, for corporate clients like Shell, Cricket Wireless, Microsoft, and Scruff at United Entertainment Group (UEG). In addition, Jake has independently produced films & television projects.
Amy represents top talent including Mindy McKnight, Brooklyn & Bailey, Charlie Xavier (WOLFIE), Sylvia Gani, Koleen Diaz, amongst others. She’s inked partnerships with brands spanning Burberry, AT&T, Forever21, Nintendo, Alaska Airlines, amongst numerous others. Prior to joining Select, Neben ran her talent management business under her own independent umbrella, Neben Management. Preceding to her foray into Talent Management, Neben spearheaded the growth of the lifestyle vertical within multimedia company and MCN, Studio 71 (formally The Collective), growing the roster from 0 to 200M monthly views in 18-months. In this position Neben was awarded by Cynopsis Media in their Top Women in Digital Awards.
